DRM Free Music Search is a new tool that combines many sources for legal song purchases. It combines eMusic, Audio Lunchbox, and other independent stores that carry DRM-free songs by artists who are not signed by the major labels. If you use the iTunes store, chances are you have files with restrictions placed on their usage. Unfortunately, many big name performers are prohibited from selling unrestricted mp3s. You could buy the CD and burn it yourself, but if you are looking for a simple pay and download option, this is a good alternative to the iTunes Music Store (if you don’t mind the lack of Britney Spears tracks).
