The Sea and Cake is the name of an album, an artist, and also derived from a song “The C in Cake.” I’m not familiar with the song other than it being from an avant-garde indie band out of Chicago. If you asked me a couple weeks ago, I’d know nothing of all three. The [...]

The year is about through and I’d like to scan through the past of liquidparallax.com. I’m usually the person who scolds other site for doing “This Month’s Best Posts Roundup,” but this is slightly different. In over a year of doing this blog, I’ve never put myself in an egocentric position and said “Internet users [...]

Instead of wasting time downloading things by hand, page by page, clicking links generated from javascript, right clicking to save or waiting for each save dialog box, you could be using a download manager to automatically grab certain files from links off of a page. No need to fear for your life or anything, but it’s always nice to know that everyone who uses Google has a cookie that expires 2038. The cookie is not edible, but it will track your use on the site and log your entire search history. Google has allegedly indicated that they won’t be deleting [...]

Amazon UK edition advertises release dates, but has fallen back every single time. Lucky for me (and many others), the ION TV channel that is carried by DirecTV Satellite (and probably other Cable [...]

I’ve written a manuscript full of bizarre and experimental poems of about 80 small pages. I’d like people to read it if they are interested in a short, but interesting book. I’d let you download a .pdf file to read in Adobe reader. I’ll send it to anybody for free, but I would appreciate if [...]

I recently added a new color to my web scheme via CSS coding. I needed another color for secondary headings that complimented the others and pink is what I liked. For those who don’t know: I’m a guy, a dude, a man. I’m not homosexual, I just like all colors. And maybe it will increase [...]
